    Who are Glue Samples for?

Ideal for professional lash technicians who want to trial a new drying speed, mobile artists who need to travel light, or stylists who prefer to switch their lash glue based on seasonal humidity changes.

    What are these samples?

These are mini 2ml versions of our complete professional adhesive range. Each sample features the exact same high-performance formula as our 5ml bottles, so you can accurately test lash retention, consistency, and drying speed on your clients.

When should you use Glue Samples?

Use these when your salon environment shifts (e.g. summer vs. winter), when you are transitioning from intermediate to advanced speed, or when you need a fresh, unopened bottle for a one-off mobile appointment or lash competition, and if you’ve been wanting to try a London Lash glue, this is your perfect chance!

    Why choose Glue Samples?

Because it removes the risk. Buying a full-sized bottle of a new lash adhesive can be nerve-wracking; a sample allows you to find your ultimate match for a fraction of the price. It is the smartest way to optimize your kit for different room conditions.

Which lash glue sample is right for your speed?

    • Advanced (0.5 - 1s): Choose Power Bond, Royal Bond, or Swift Bond for instant magnetic attachment.
    • Advanced (0.7 - 1s): Choose Sugar Glaze for the perfect balance of speed and control.
    • Intermediate (1 - 1.5s): Try Flexie (honey-like consistency) or the world-renowned Lady Bond.
    • Beginner (2s+): Start with Satin Bond for a slightly slower drying time, which allows for perfect placement.
    • Specialty: Choose Crystal Bond (clear) for brown or colored lash sets.

How to get the most out of your 2ml Glue Samples

Since these samples are designed for a shorter trial period, managing them correctly is vital to ensure you see true results. If you are testing a new adhesive, follow this professional checklist:

    • Environmental Calibration: Always monitor your workspace with a hygrometer. Because you are trialing a new formula, you may need to adjust your humidity or temperature slightly to find the ideal environment for that specific glue. Use a humidifier, dehumidifier, or climate control as necessary to stabilize your environment.
    • Maximizing Freshness: Since these are 2ml samples, they have a shorter shelf life than our full-sized bottles. Once opened, utilize the sample within 3–5 days. To ensure it remains effective, always store it upright in an airtight container away from direct sunlight.
    • The Trial Protocol: We recommend using the sample on 3–4 clients to get a true feel for the retention and drying speed. Ensure you perform a thorough pre-treatment routine (Lash Shampoo, Cleanser, and Primer) to ensure the adhesive is bonding to a pristine surface.
    • Track Your Results: Because you are testing a new consistency, make a note of the date you opened the sample. If you notice the glue becoming "gloopy" or sluggish, it is time to open a fresh sample or switch to a full-sized bottle.
    • Record Your Observations: Every artist has a different hand speed. If the adhesive dries too quickly or too slowly for your rhythm, consider if you need to adjust your pick-up bead size or switch to a different product in our range.

    FAQ

Which lash adhesive dries the fastest?

Our quickest-drying adhesives include Power Bond, Royal Bond, all designed to cure within 0.5–1 second when used in the correct conditions.

    • Power Bond performs best at 64–72°F (18–22°C) and 50–65% humidity
    • Royal Bond works well at 64–72°F and 30–80% humidity
    • Keep in mind: higher humidity speeds up curing time, while lower humidity slows it down.

    • These adhesives are extremely fast and are best suited for advanced lash artists. Using a glue that cures too quickly for your working speed can negatively impact retention.

How do I choose the right lash glue?

The best eyelash extension adhesive for you depends on your experience level, room conditions, and working speed.

    - Beginner or intermediate artists: opt for slower adhesives like Lady Bond or Satin Bond for better control

    - Advanced artists: faster adhesives can help you work more efficiently

To choose accurately, you'll need to know:

    • Your room temperature
    • Your room humidity
    • How quickly you place the extension after dipping into the adhesive

Using a hygrometer is highly recommended to monitor your environment and maintain consistency. For a full breakdown, check out our lash glue comparison guide or reach out to our support team at info@londonlashpro.com.

Which lash glue is best for sensitive clients?

All professional lash adhesives contain cyanoacrylate, the ingredient responsible for bonding. Most allergic reactions are triggered by adhesive fumes, not the liquid itself.

If a client has previously had an allergic reaction, it's very likely they will react again. In these cases, lash extensions are not recommended.

For clients who experience mild sensitivity (not a true allergy), you can:

    • Use Superbonder at the end of the appointment to help reduce fumes
    • Improve airflow with tools like an extraction fan to minimize exposure
    • Always follow proper consultation procedures and never work on clients with known contraindications.

Why is my lash glue drying too slowly?

Slow curing is usually caused by low humidity or incorrect room temperature.

    To speed up your adhesive:

Increase humidity levels in your workspace

Adjust room temperature to fall within your glue's recommended range

Apply Booster to the lash strip to accelerate curing

    Helpful ways to increase humidity:

    • Use a humidifier
    • Place a damp towel near a heat source
    • Lightly hydrate lashes during prep
    • Work in sections to help maintain moisture

If your speed has improved over time, your adhesive may simply be too slow for your current skill level — switching to a faster glue could make a real difference in your results.

Why has my lash glue become thick or stringy?

Changes in adhesive consistency are usually caused by exposure to air, moisture, or improper storage.

    To prevent this:

Store glue in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight

Avoid pushing dried adhesive back into the bottle

Replace glue every 4–8 weeks after opening

Always close the cap immediately after use

Never clean the nozzle with nozzle wipes

Proper care will help maintain optimal performance and retention.

Why are my volume fans closing?

If your fans close after dipping, your adhesive is likely too slow for your working speed.

    To fix this:

Increase humidity and/or temperature in your workspace

Use Booster on the lash strip (never directly on natural lashes)

Also check that you're not picking up too much adhesive. Balanced conditions and the correct amount of glue are key to maintaining open, symmetrical fans.

How do I clean my glue nozzle properly?

    After every use:

Wipe the nozzle with a lint-free glue wipe

    Store the bottle upright

Gently squeeze out any residue before closing

    When shaking manually:

    Remove the cap

Cover the nozzle with a wipe to prevent clogging

Important: Never use cotton pads, tissues, or any fibrous materials. These can react with cyanoacrylate and cause heat buildup or safety risks.

What is the shelf life of lash adhesive?

Unopened: Up to 6 months from the production date

Opened: Best used within 4 weeks (maximum 8 weeks)

For sample sizes (2ml), use within 5 days of opening.

Pro tip: write the opening date directly on your bottle so you can easily track freshness.

What should I do if my glue nozzle is blocked?

    If your nozzle becomes clogged:

Replace it with a spare nozzle

Use a Glue Rescue Kit if the cap is stuck

A nozzle opener tool can make replacement much easier

    To avoid blockages:

Clean the nozzle after every use

    Store your glue correctly

Avoid squeezing the bottle when dispensing

Why is there white residue on my glue bottle?

White residue is caused by shock polymerization, which occurs when adhesive comes into contact with moisture. To prevent this, store your glue in an airtight container, keep it away from humidity and direct sunlight, and make sure the cap is tightly sealed after each use.

Why does my glue look clear instead of black?

Adhesives must be shaken thoroughly before use. Shake for 1–2 minutes (or use a glue shaker) to ensure all ingredients are properly mixed.

Note: Crystal Bond is the only adhesive designed to remain clear. All other adhesives should appear fully black when ready to use.

How should I store lash glue correctly?

Before opening: Keep sealed in the original packaging. Storing in the refrigerator can help extend shelf life

After opening: Store at room temperature in an airtight container, away from heat, sunlight, and humidity

Always store upright. Proper storage is essential for maintaining adhesive performance.

How do I remove lash adhesive safely?

Eyelash extensions should always be removed by a trained professional. Never pull or force extensions off, as this can cause damage to the natural lashes.

For safe removal, use a professional remover such as Cream Remover or Gel Remover. Work in small sections and make sure the eyes are properly protected throughout the process.

Following correct removal techniques ensures a safe and comfortable experience for your client.

I purchased the sample lash glue for $8+ with an additional $7+for shipping. Unfortunately, I found it uncomfortable to use and the hold only lasted for about a week. Even for beginners, the performance doesn’t justify the $15 total cost, especially considering its short shelf life.

    Hi Elmira,

We’re really sorry to hear this – it definitely doesn’t sound right for our Satin Bond glue! 😔 We’ve just reached out to you via email so we can look into this further and make things right
