Is this product right for me?

    Who is Power Bond for?

Crafted exclusively for advanced professional lash artists. If you are a high-speed expert seeking a professional eyelash glue that seamlessly matches your fast pace, Power Bond is your ultimate solution. (Please note: This lash adhesive is not recommended for beginner or intermediate artists).

    What is Power Bond Glue?

Power Bond is one of our best-selling professional eyelash extension adhesives, trusted by lash artists for its speed and performance. This incredibly fast-drying lash glue (0.5 - 1 sec) is perfectly formulated for both Classic lashes and Russian Volume lashes. Crafted from premium ingredients, this strong hold lash glue provides maximum water and oil resistance, guaranteeing an impressive lash retention of up to 9 weeks.

When Should You Use Power Bond?

Reach for this professional lash adhesive when you require an instant, magnetic bond to eliminate stickies and accelerate your application time. Built for unwavering reliability, Power Bond removes the stress of unpredictable salon climates. It performs flawlessly across the broadest temperature (64°F - 97°F / 12°C - 36°C) and humidity ranges (15% - 90%), ensuring your glue behaves perfectly no matter the weather.

    Why Choose Power Bond?

Because exceptional eyelash retention builds your business. Power Bond delivers the ultimate return on investment for high-volume lash professionals. By instantly curing in under a second and adjusting to nearly any room environment, it drastically cuts down your service time while ensuring your clients' extensions stay firmly locked in place.

How to get the best eyelash extension retention with Power Bond?

To achieve that legendary 9-week retention, mastering your environment and managing your adhesive drop is crucial. If your volume fans are "brushing off" or you are experiencing poor retention, run through this pro checklist:

    • Regulate Your Environment: Always monitor your workspace with a hygrometer. While Power Bond is incredibly versatile, standard adhesive rules apply: higher humidity makes the adhesive cure faster, while lower humidity slows the drying time. The same applies to room temperature. Use a humidifier, dehumidifier, AC unit, or space heater to maintain optimal levels.
    • Master Your Drop: Consistently work from a fresh glue drop. Dispense a new bead every 10 to 20 minutes (or more often during the warmer months). Never place fresh adhesive directly on top of an old drop, as it will immediately become gummy and stringy. Make sure your drop is the ideal size—too large exposes the glue to excess air; too small means it will cure before it ever touches the natural lash.
    • The Ultimate Prep Routine: Flawless retention begins long before the glue is applied. Thoroughly cleanse the natural lashes using Lash Foam Cleanser alongside Protein Remover Pads. Follow up with Cleanser (to strip away residual oils) and Primer to deeply hydrate and balance the pH level.
    • The Final Seal: For clients who tend to touch their lashes or sleep face-down, complete your service with Superbonder Lash Sealant. This instantly cures the adhesive, creating a flexible bond that is far less likely to snap off.
    • Application Check: Verify that you have at least a 2mm attachment base with the natural lash, ensuring there are no split or crisscrossed bases.

    FAQs

Which lash adhesive dries the fastest?

Our quickest-drying adhesives include Power Bond, Royal Bond, and Swift Bond, all designed to cure within 0.5–1 second when used in the correct conditions.

    • Power Bond performs best at 64–72°F (18–22°C) and 50–65% humidity
    • Royal Bond works well at 64–72°F and 30–80% humidity
    • Swift Bond is ideal at 64–72°F and 40–85% humidity

Keep in mind: higher humidity speeds up curing time, while lower humidity slows it down.

These adhesives are extremely fast and are best suited for advanced lash artists. Using a glue that cures too quickly for your speed can negatively impact retention.

How do I choose the right lash glue?

The best eyelash extension adhesive for you depends on your experience level, room conditions, and working speed.

Beginner or intermediate artists: opt for slower adhesives like Lady Bond or Satin Bond for better control

Advanced artists: faster adhesives may help you increase efficiency

To choose accurately, you’ll need to know:

    • Your room temperature
    • Your room humidity
    • How quickly you place the extension after dipping into adhesive

Using a hygrometer is highly recommended to monitor your environment and maintain consistency.

For a full breakdown, explore our lash glue comparison guide or reach out to our support team at info@londonlashpro.com.

Which lash glue is best for sensitive clients?

All professional lash adhesives contain cyanoacrylate, the ingredient responsible for bonding. Most allergic reactions are triggered by adhesive fumes, not the liquid itself.

If a client has previously had an allergic reaction, it’s very likely they will react again. In these cases, lash extensions are not recommended.

For clients who experience mild sensitivity (not a true allergy), you can:

    • Use Superbonder at the end of the treatment to reduce fumes
    • Improve airflow with tools like an extraction fan to minimize exposure
    • Always follow proper consultation procedures and avoid working on clients with contraindications.

Why is my lash glue drying too slowly?

Slow curing is usually caused by low humidity or incorrect room temperature.

    To speed up your adhesive:

Increase humidity levels in your workspace

Adjust room temperature within your glue’s recommended range

Use Booster on the lash strip to accelerate curing

    Helpful ways to increase humidity:

    • Use a humidifier
    • Place a damp towel near a heat source
    • Lightly hydrate lashes during prep
    • Work in sections to maintain moisture

If your speed has improved over time, your adhesive may simply be too slow for your current skill level - switching to a faster glue could improve your results.

Why has my lash glue become thick or stringy?

Adhesive consistency changes are usually caused by exposure to air, moisture, or improper storage.

    To prevent this:

    • Store glue in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight
    • Avoid pushing dried adhesive back into the bottle
    • Replace glue every 4–8 weeks after opening
    • Always close the cap immediately after use
    • Never clean the nozzle with nozzle wipes
    • Proper care will help maintain optimal performance and retention.

Why are my volume fans closing?

If your fans close after dipping, your adhesive is likely too slow for your working speed.

    To fix this:

    Increase humidity and/or temperature

Use Booster on the lash strip (not on natural lashes)

Check that you’re not picking up too much adhesive. Balanced conditions and correct glue amount are key to maintaining open, symmetrical fans.

How do I clean my glue nozzle properly?

    After every use:

Wipe the nozzle with a lint-free glue wipe

    Store the bottle upright

Gently squeeze out any residue before closing

    When shaking manually:

    Remove the cap

Cover the nozzle with a wipe to prevent clogging

Important: Never use cotton pads, tissues, or fibrous materials. These can react with cyanoacrylate and cause heat buildup or safety risks.

What is the shelf life of lash adhesive?

Unopened: Up to 6 months from production date

Opened: Best used within 4 weeks (maximum 8 weeks)

For sample sizes (2ml), use within 5 days of opening.

Pro tip: label your bottle with the opening date to track freshness.

What should I do if my glue nozzle is blocked?

    If your nozzle becomes clogged:

Replace it with a spare nozzle

Use a Glue Rescue Kit if the cap is stuck

A nozzle opener tool can make replacement easier

    To avoid blockages:

Clean the nozzle after every use

    Store glue correctly

Avoid squeezing the bottle when dispensing

Why is there white residue on my glue bottle?

White residue is caused by shock polymerization, which happens when adhesive reacts with moisture.

To prevent this, store glue in an airtight container, keep it away from humidity and direct sunlight and ensure the cap is tightly sealed after each use

Why does my glue look clear instead of black?

Adhesives must be shaken thoroughly before use. Shake for 1–2 minutes (or use a glue shaker), this ensures all ingredients are properly mixed

Only Crystal Bond is designed to be clear. All other adhesives should appear fully black when ready to use.

How should I store lash glue correctly?

Before opening: Keep sealed in original packaging. Can be stored in the refrigerator to extend shelf life

After opening: Store at room temperature. Use an airtight container and keep away from heat, sunlight, and humidity.

Always store upright. Proper storage is essential for maintaining adhesive performance.

How do I remove lash adhesive safely?

Eyelash extensions should always be removed by a trained professional. Never pull or force extensions off, as this can damage natural lashes.

For safe removal: Use a professional remover such as Cream Remover or Gel Remover. Work in small sections and ensure eyes are properly protected.

Following correct removal techniques ensures a safe and comfortable experience for your client.

    I like it

    Sarah Lee
    used to be good

i’ve used this stuff for years same exact bottle and it was fine and these past two bottles i fear they’ve switched the formula or something, out of no where my clients eyes reacted horribly not just one client, multiple. loved this glue for a while but looks like i’m gonna need to say my goodbye to this brand:/

Hi Sarah, thank you so much for leaving your feedback. We’re really sorry to hear that your clients experienced a reaction recently 😣

We want to reassure you that the formula of our glue hasn’t changed at all — it’s exactly the same as before. I’ve reached out to you via email so we can share the MSDS with you and hopefully help understand what might have gone wrong.

Unfortunately, even regular clients can develop a sensitivity or allergy to cyanoacrylate at any time, but of course we completely understand how concerning it is that this happened to multiple clients at once

We’d really love to hear back from you so we can help as best we can and offer a suitable resolution. Thank you again for sharing your experience - London Lash Team x
