Super Bonder Sealant:

  • adds elasticity to the adhesive. The additional flexibility ensures the bonds don't break as easily, therefore resulting in better retention.
  • instantly polymerises the glue,without shock curing! It locks in the fumes from the adhesive and with the fumes contained, irritation and sensitivity are significantly reduced!
  • Additionally, because the bonds have been sealed, the lashes, therefore, are instantly safe to get wet. Yourself and your clients will no longer have to worry about the rain, having a shower or going to the gym!

How to use

  1. Once you've completed the eyelash treatment, squeeze 1 small drop of Superbonder lash Sealant onto a microfibre brush and carefully apply at the bottom 2-3mm of the eyelash set (adhesive area). Make sure to apply only a small drop of the product to avoid getting it into the client's eye, which may cause eye irritation and/or stinging.
  2. Allow the product to dry for 1-2 minutes. 
  3. Remove the eyepatches and let the client open their eyes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this be used before applying lash extensions?

No, Superbonder is a Lash Sealant so should only be applied at the very end of the treatment to cure the glue bonds.

Can you use in nanomisters?

Absolutely not. Superbonder should only be applied to the glue bonds and should not touch the skin or enter the eyes. While the ingredients in Superbonder aren't deemed harmful to the skin, it hasn't been tested for use on the skin, so should only be used according to instructions.

Is Superbonder necessary for a lash extension treatment?

It's not necessarily and essential, but it's really common for Lash Techs to deem it a necessity once they've used it on a few clients and seen the extra retention times! If you'd like to try it but are nervous about not liking it, try a sample bottle before you commit to a full-sized bottle.

Can Superbonder be used with Easy Fanning Lashes?

Yes, you can! As the Bases of the fans will be covered by lash extension glue, the Superbonder won't affect them at all, and will simply behave like it would with any other lashes.

How soon after using Superbonder can client wet their lashes?

Although Superbonder cures the glue to the point of locking in the fumes instantly, some glue drops will be bigger than others depending on the size of the extension and natural lashes. It's best if clients can wait for around an hour after treatment to submerge their lashes in water, or otherwise exposing them to high levels of moisture.
